The thesis deals with problems of stability and estimation for solutions of nonautonomous mechanical systems. Also the problem of the influence of friction forces with partial dissipation on stability of motion of conservative systems is investigated. The theorems on estimations of solutions of nonautonomous systems based on the idea of Liapunov's direct method, are proved.Stability problem for mechanical systems with rotational-oscillatory motions is stuied in the case where the relative oscillatory motion has small amplitude but high frequency
