Essay

The thesis researches the problem of the development of theoretical and methodological fundamentals of the commodity examination of jewellery valuables, in particular, conceptual apparatus, principles and methods. The analysis of specialized and departmental examination was done, their difference from commodity examination was shown. Consumer characteristics of jewellery valuables, criteria of identification, value and their classification were defined. Theory of identification and value of jewellery items, essence and regulations of commodity examination types, in particular, identifying, authentic, evaluating were developed. Commodity instruments, mechanism and method of defining "individual value" of jewellery valuables were developed. Limit indexes of the gold alloy content and attributive characteristic of jewellery products of different periods as indicators of defining the shelf life and the authenticity of products were determined.
