Essay

An approach to determine temperature fields and thermal stresses in piecewise continuous layered solids possessing parallel, cylindrical and spherical symmetries have been developed. Applying the Green functions method, integral representation for analytical solutions for a number stationary and transient thermal and thermo-elasticity one- two- and three-dimensional problems have been built. Applying developed method, analytical representations for temperature and thermal stresses fields in the dependence of the environment temperature, the initial body temperature and the heat sources distributions have been obtained for a number of the problems. The developed approach allowed obtaining analogs of Myzel functions for wide range of thermo-elasticityproblems in which the temperature dependence of the thermal expansion coefficient is accounted. The developed approach has been applied to study how the body geometric, physical and mechanical parameters influence on the temperature fields and thermal stresses and strains.
