Kaminskyi V. The agrobiological basis of legume crop growing intensification in the Ukrainian Forest-Steppe.

Subject of research - the process of stable pea, soybean and haricot bean production zone optimization with allowance for the meteorological conditions of regions. The purpose is the substantiation of theoretical basis of stable legume crop growing zone formation and functioning and their production intensification by means of the optimization of varietal composition, fertilizer and plant protection system application. The methods are field, chemical, morphophysiological, physical, mathematical and statistical, comparative and computational. The agrobiological basis of pea, soybean and haricot bean growing intensification in the Forest-Steppe zone by means of revealing the most favourable for them regions in terms of a level of moisture and heat supply, optimization of crop placement with allowance for biological plant requirements on the action of climatic and technological factors is theoretically, substantiated and worked out. The competitive, adapted to the environment conditions, environmetally safe legume crop growing technologies that are based on the selection of varieties with a high level of stability and realization of their genetic potential, the use of rational fertilizer plant protection and inoculation systems are improved. The scientific developments are introdused at the farms of the Kyiv and Poltava regions over an area about 10 thou. ha. The field of application is the agricultural production.
