Dissertation is devoted to the study of mechanism of development of epidemic process of enteroviruses infections in the eradication period of poliomyelitis and improvement of the modern system of epidemiological surveillance. The mass immunization with oral poliovirus vaccine promoted decreasing of quantitative manifestations of epidemic process EVI for account of apathogenic serotype, increasing of an enteroviruses role in development of neurologic diseases, including aseptic meningitis, increasing of proportion of the unidentified viruses among the cytopathic agents is established. Among the clinical manifestations of EVI, the leading role takes aseptic meningitis, the last 3 years the frequency of isolation enteroviruses from patients with aseptic meningitis in 2-5 times is higher in a comparison with other groups of the patients and makes 9,1-10,9 %. Children of the first 3 years of life more often are sick and predominately have symptoms from the part of the intestinal tract. With age the risk ofdevelopment of the terrible neurologic pathology increases. The asymptomatic form of infection most frequently meets among children in the age of 4-6 years.
