Economic security of the country. The development of methodological basis of the analysis of the essence and features of investment activity as a functional component of economic security, the determination of index system for diagnostics, forecasting and current regulation of investment activity. Scientific methods of cognition, empirical and statistical methods, econometrical and forecasting methods. The correlation of categories that reflects subsystem of relationship concerning with guaranteeing economic security has been displayed for the first time. The concept of "investment guaranteeing of economic security" has been introduced in economic theory. The main contradictions of investment guaranteeing of economic security have been defined. The positive and normative aspects of investment security have been defined. The system of monitoring of the investment component of economic security has been proposed. The method of using cluster analysis for the estimation of the level of economic security has been developed. The diagnostics of economic security, the method of evaluating levels of crisis in investment security states, the forecasting method of investment market have been improved. The recommendations concerning improvement of methodical and institutional and organizational guaranteeing of investment security have been implemented.
