Barna O. Peculiarities of pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnostics and treatment of coronary artery disease in women depending on the risk factors

The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of diagnosis and treatment of CAD in women, based on the complex comparative study of pathogenesis, clinic, diagnosis, treatment and concomitant risk factors of CAD. Prospective supervision was conducted during 1 year, and included 457 patients with ACS, 222 patients with stable angina and 98 women with surgical and natural menopause. We had established some differencies of CAD pathogenesis in women and men based on heamostasis system, lipid disorders and acute inflammatory markers. Some differencies of CAD clinical presentations in women with acute and chronic CAD forms were demonstrated. Comparision in gender aspect of diagnostic tests in patients with CAD were performed with estimation of gender specific criterias for women. Surgical and natural menopauses as specific risk factor of CAD in women were studied, methods of climacteric disorders correction in women with CAD were proposed. Some differences in treatment of CAD in women comparatively to menwere established Differential multifactor models of unfavorable prognosis for women and men with stable angina and ACS had been developed.
