Simonenko T. Formation оf the philology students professional speech communication competence

The dissertation deals with the system of work on formation of the philology students’ professional speech communication competence. It is for the first time in the methods of the Ukrainian language teaching that such a system is presented in Ukraine. The system determines linguistic pragmatic subject and technical competence as basic components of its formation as a whole. Practical significance of the results obtained is connected with the possibility to work out technologies for the development of the professional speech communication skills and habits of future linguists. Practical significance is connected also with the working out of the forms and content, methods and principles of organization of educational, cognitive and research activities of philology students. The author’s syllabi and text-books for future teachers of language have been introduced in Teachers’ Training Universities in Ukraine of late. Using the dissertation conceptual principles it becomes possible to create various ways ofthe philology education content planning in the high schools.
