Essay

Dissertation is devoted to actual problem - surgery of postoperative hernias. It was elaborated a differential approach for selection of tactics at this pathology. Reliable assessment criteria of soft tissues condition at the region of hernial defect were first established with using of ultrasound and computed tomography. There were proposed 4 classified types of postoperative hernias. It was proposed the classification of reconstructive operations for postoperative hernias. For the first time it was elaborated an algorithm of rehabilitation of patients with incapacitating types of hernia.
