Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the vital problem of the development of theoretical and methodological foundations of the organic chemistry studying under conditions of modernization of school education. The grounding is given to the conceptual approaches to the development of the contemporary content and structure of the organic chemistry’s part of the curriculum, organization of the educational process and its didactic support. The dissertation reveals cultural context of the organic chemistry, contemporary scientific interpretation of the structure and characteristics of organic compounds, the methodology of the content selection and its development trends, as well as the objective, tasks and place of organic compounds studying. The pedagogical effectiveness of the developed methodology together with didactical support of the course are experimentally verified and proved.
