Klymjuk Y. Genre system of lyrics by Ivan Franko.

In this thesis the definition of the types of genres of lyrics is connected with its main feature -lyricism, a diverse phenomenon, has three main forms: expressiveness (eloquence), addressability (vocativity), and depiction (representativeness). As a result there is a possibility of defining classes and singling out typologically related groups of genres of I. Franko: genres of folklore genesis, referential, necrologic, conventional addressability, literary genres, trope structure, meditative. The genre analysis of I. Franko's lyrics is investigated for the first time in the format of the development of poetic forms in Ukrainian poetry.
