Marinenko Y. Problems of National Identity in Ukrainian Prose of 40-50th Years of XX Century.

The thesis is the complex monographic research in which Ukrainian prose of 40-50th years of XX century is examined as systematic unity. Complex of philosophic, ideological, political doctrines that determinate the peculiarity of this literary period, are comprehended in the thesis. Individual author's texts of T.Osmachka, O.Dowzhenko, V.Domontovich, V. Barka, I.Bagryanyj, L.Mosendz, I.Kostetskyj, O.Gonchar, D.Gumenna, U.Samchuk, Yu.Kosach, M.Stelmach, are analyzed. The genre peculiarity of writings has been outlined, its determinants have been bared. Have been formed conception of national special features of Ukrainian literary process of 40-50th years of XX century.
