Essay

Object: the phraseological units of Ukrainian and Russian against the background other Slavic languages (Byelorussian, Bulgarian, Polish). Purpose: to find out the specific of phraseological symbol in the Ukrainian and Russian pictures of the world. Methods: linguacultural method is offered on the basis of method of conceptual analysis based on the range of procedures and means of prototype, distributive, comparative, comparable and etymologic analysis. Novelty: phraseological symbols in linguacultural aspect system in Ukrainian and Russian are explored. Area of application: in theoretical courses and special courses in linguacultural, translation disciplines, lexicography, in practice of teaching Ukrainian and Russian and in lexicography.
