The object - enterovirus infection in ante- and postnatal period. The purpose - to reveal the appropriateness of fetus and newborns affection by enteroviruses. The methods - virological, biochemical, genetical, serological, immunological, molecular-biological, statistical. The results - the results of investigations of intrauterine enterovirus infection appropriateness are produced in the thesis. There is proved experimentally that factors, which stipulate features of enterovirus infection in pregnant and fetus, are biological properties of causative agent, gestation stage when infecting occurs, and infectious dose, age and genetic characteristics of macroorganism. There is revealed that during infection caused by enteroviruses the lipid metabolism is broken in pregnant organism and embryonic cells, and the chromosomal aberration are appeared in fetus cells. On pathogenesis bases there is proved possibility of specific prophylaxis and drug correction of intrauterine enterovirus infection. There is revealed that in human organism enteroviruses can overcome the placental barrier and affect a fetus during every stage of pregnancy The novelty: appropriateness of intrauterine enterovirus infection are established. It is well-proven that pregnancy promotes a sensitiveness to the enterovirus infection. It has been established for the first time that main role in pathogenesis of the experimental infection of pregnant is own of biological properties of causative agent. The course of enteroviral infection in pregnant women depend on gestation stage, genetic features of macroorganism, age of animals and infectious dose. It is discovered that attenuated viruses of poliomyelitis, Coxsackie B viruses and ECHO viruses can be transmitted vertically and lead to death of fetus, birth of lacking vitality offspring, disorder of development process, forming of immunological tolerance. The factors that stipulate features of experimental enteroviral infection of fetus course are biological properties of causative agent, rate offetus maturity, infectious dose. It has been displayed for the first time that Coxsackie B viruses and viruses of poliomyelitis cause appearance of chromosomal aberration in fetus cells. It is experimentally revealed for the first time that in the organism of pregnant women during enterovirus infection lipid metabolism disorders occur. There is experimentally proven that sensitiveness of pregnant and fetuses to enterovirus infection and expressiveness of chromosomal disorders rise during pregnancy, they arrive at maximum to end of gestation. For the first time on pathogenetic base it is experimentally grounded the possibility successful specific prophylaxis of intrauterine Coxsackie B viral infection and medicine correction of lipid metabolism disorder. By paraclinical investigation it is displayed possibility of different types of enteroviruses to cause intrauterine pathology. For the first time it is revealed the possibility of polioviruses with various virulence to overpass the placental barrier and affectfetus during every stage of gestation. The degree of introduction - the results of the carried out researches are applied into scientific and practical activity in the form of the methodical recommendations, and for educational process. Sphere of application - medicine, virology.
