Essay

The effect of cryopreservation conditions on the integrity of mature pigs' and newborn piglets' organ fragments (pancreas, liver, spleen) and on the composition of water-saline extracts derived from these fragments has been studied in the work. The high cryprotective efficiency of polyethylene oxides in crypreservation of organ fragments was observed. It was stated that the yield of substances having peptide nature into the solution from the organ fragments crypreserved under polyethylene oxides 1500 protection is higher. It was defined that molecular mass peptide distribution in extracts differs and depends on animal age. The extract of pigs' cryopreserved pancreas fragments promoted the normalization of the biochemical indices under experimental diabetes mellitus. The liver extracts stimulated reparative processes in damaged organs under toxic hepatitis and contracted liver. The injection of spleen extracts positively influences on diabetes mellitus and toxic hepatitis activity as well as shortens recovering time in wounds caused by burns. The mixture of extracts inhibited the Heren's carcinoma growth and increased rats' life.
