The processes of somatic embryogenesis in clematis, caladium and lyrate fig were investigated and the optimal factors, regulated formation of embryoids were revealed. The features of genome variability were established through different regeneration of clematis in vitro. For the first time high effective biotechnological systems of clematis, caladium and lyrate fig obtaining through somatic embryogenesis and organogenesis were developed The morphogenetic capacity of tissues and organs in zizyphus, kiwi, persimmon, feijoa, nep and hyssop was studied. High regeneration ability of leaf explants to formation of adventive microshoots was demonstrated and new recipient systems in vitro were created. For the first time the optimal explants of ornamental plants, subtropical and stone fruits for preservation in vitro were determined. The major factors influencing on duration of preservation of explants in conditions in vitro were established. The method of minimization of plants growth was developed and genepool collection of valuable species and cultivars of perennial horticultural plants was created.
