Essay

The problem of studying the mechanisms of the modification of optical properties of doped rare-earth centers under the effects of intercenter interaction and spatial restriction was solved. It was shown that the main action of the spatial restriction on the optical properties of rare-earth doped centers takes place by a modification of nanocrystal's phonon subsystem and the formation of more symmetric crystal structures for nanoccrystals.
