Essay

The author presents for defense the results of research of the role and the place of the Parliament of Ukraine in political communication. This thesis reveals the informational foundations of activity of the State superior representative and single legislative body, substantiates theoretical and methodological backgrounds of research of the parliament inter-institutional relations' nature in political communication, and also unveils the nature of the conflict of parliament Constitutional powers' interpretations. The communicative functions of parliamentary discourse and its role in citizens' political culture improvement are defined. The law-making processes content in the context of socialization of the legislative initiative's subjects, the communicative backgrounds of legislative policy democratization are analyzed. There are formulated the findings concerning the perspectives of parliamentary themes' evolution in political communication, as well as recommendations on increase of mass communicationmedia role in the activity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
