Essay

This research is devoted to the economic processes of domestic and world food protein resources formation in the context of population nourishment improvement, solving of a global problem of food protein deficiency. The purpose of the research is studying of the food protein and high-protein vegetable resources formation, development of the methodology-theoretical and scientific applied fundamentals of solving the protein constituent of the food problem, first of all, in Ukraine. Research methods: dialectic, abstract-logic, monographic, statistically economic, graphic, system-analytical, method of comparative analysis, design-calculated, modeling. Theoretical and practical results: basic theoretical positions, conclusions and suggestions of the thesis are integrally interpreted as a knowledge and recommendations system for the practical solving of the vitally important problem of foodstuff and protein, economic resources realization for increase of production and high protein vegetable resources usagefor ensuring high-quality population nutrition and food safety of the county. Recommendations to the manufacturing: ways of the food protein problem solving, increase in production of high-protein vegetable resources, improved structure and location of high-protein plants crops, which will ensure stability and economic efficiency of their production. Scientific novelty: for the first time the economic model of food protein resources formation in the context of providing the population with wholesome protein food is developed, the role and place of high protein vegetable resources in population nutrition is determined at the domestic and world levels, the model of protein consumption level and structure influence on life expectancy of a person is developed; there was determined the existence of the correlation between the increase in protein production of protein-oil crops and production of animal origin protein; points that were improved: the essence of interpretation of the category “high-protein vegetable resources” as a set of sources, which have high protein content, vegetable origin, complex character of usage, where grain legumes, protein-oil crops and their cakes belong; classification of oil crops taking into account not only fat content, but also protein content, these crops are suggested to be called protein-oil crops; points that were further developed: systematization, synthesis and analysis of the information on high-protein vegetable resources sources; regional specialization of their production; rigorous substantiation of the economic bases of food protein problem solving by increase in production of the vegetable protein; improvement of structure and location of grain legumes and protein-oil crops, increase of efficiency of their cultivation in Ukraine. Introduction: results of this thesis are introduced in the agrarian-industrial complex of Ukraine that is confirmed by the certificates given by the Ministry of agricultural policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Committee on agricultural policy and land relations by Verchovna Rada of Ukraine, the Council on studying the productive forces of Ukraine, the Allukrainian Union of agricultural enterprises, the National association of agricultural advisory services of Ukraine, the Association of farmers and private land owners of Ukraine, the National association of agricultural-commercial organizations of Ukraine, the Central administrative board of agricultural-industrial development of Vinnytsa regional state administration. Efficiency: the results of this work will promote the increase in production and effective formation of domestic high-protein vegetable resources up to level of full provision of the country internal needs.
