The object of research is credit security of realization of investment policy on macro- and microlevels. The aim of research is to description of theoretical and methodological basis of credit mechanism of realization of investment policy and to give recommendations about improvement of its role in economic growth of Ukraine. Methods of research - dialectical, sysms analysis, synthesis, statistical comparison, selection, grouping, functional, historical. To results from the dissertation are theoretical and methodological basis of credit mechanism of realization of investment policy in transitive economic system. Some recommendations about improvement of functional role of credit in investment processes in Ukraine were introducted in practice activity of National Bank of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industrial Policy.
