Essay

Object - optimization of soft and hard winer wheat production on basis of processing methods, which assist high winter hardness of plants. The aim is to establish and ground in theory the elaboration regularity of adoptive qualities of plants, frost and winter resistance of soft and hard winter wheat generation and to work out new approaches and methods to provide whole realization of durability and productivity potential. Methods - field, laboratory-and-field, laboratory experiments. Results: optimal terms of winter wheat seeding in conditions of moisture shortage subject to predecessors were foud, raising technology of soft and hard winter wheat was developed for conditions of northern Steppe of Ukraine, influence of pesticides and cryoprotectors on winter hardness was investigated, daily rhythmicity of winter hardness was elicited and scientific concept of winter hardness was widened.
