Essay

Object - functional activity of human sera and milk immunoglobulines. Aim of the study - determine the corelation between antigen specificity and catalytic activity of human serum and milk antibodies in healthy people and during some autoimmune pathologies, and also towards estimation of the antibodies' influence on growth and survival of the mammalian cells. Methods - biochemical, cytological, statistical. It has been shown that immunoglobulins, obtained from collostrum of healthy woman and blood serum of some patients with multiple sclerosis can induce cells death in vitro or, in contrary, stimulate proliferation of the studied target cells. Anti-DNA sIgA, isolated from human colostrum possesses nuclease activity and cytotoxic activity towards mamalial cell lines. Anti-histone IgGs capable of hydrolysing of histone H1. Anti-his IgGs have capacity to internalize by Jurkat and L929 cells and also to stimulate their proliferation. We also detected sIgA- and IgG-antibodies possessing phosphotransferase activity in the collostrum of healthy woman and blood serum of some patients with system lupus erythrematosis. Area of use - cell biology, immunology, clinical diagnostics.
