The author in the thesis reveals peculiarities of antiutopia genre consciousness functioning under the conditions of transition cultural period, vectors of its transformations and modifications, dominant genre verifications as well as relevant artistic strategy and tactics of utopia in the context of postmodern literary process. On the basis of utopia cultural modus logical character of utopia creative activization on the final stages of transition cultural period has been diachronically investigated. The author systematized a complex of mythological subject archetypes, analyses genre matrix, genre canon, actant mechanisms that lay down the foundation to realize utopia modus transformation in cultural dynamics. On the basis of folklore and literary traditions the author specifies literary topics that is closely related to utopia genre contents. The research makes it possible to suggest genre typology forms of modern antiutopia, characterize structures of politicized, millenary and technicized types ofutopia artistic consciousness to form genre diversities of social existential and science fiction antiutopia. The author exposes national peculiarities of Russian version and the role of postmodernism style dominant to develop antiutopia genre of XIX-XXI centuries that makes emphasis on such genetic features of antiutopia artistic integrity as polygenrism carnivality mythologism in the aspects of demythologization and remythologization.
