Essay

The thesis is devoted to complex and system, historical and theoretical analysis of gender violence problem taking into consideration the legal means of its eradication in Ukraine. The gender approach, as a principle of research, destroys conventional views according to which the theme of sex violence in jurisprudence was interpreted mainly from position of criminal law and criminofamilistiks that excluded its consideration within the gender law. There are science-based regulations, conclusions and proposals which reveal a new view of this problem through gender and law dimension in context of social and sex discrimination and gender inequality.
