Essay

Object: Systems of nominating a male person. Objective: determine the noseological, social, cultural and linguistic status and language categorization of masculization; find out regularity of choosing the form of nominating a male content. Method: definitive, component analysis and component synthesis, etymological, comparative. Linguistic novelty: this is the first analysis of masculization in the Czech and krainian languages. A methodology of motivational, comparative and onomasioligic analysis of the “man” paradigm has been suggested. Sphere of application: when compiling semantic and onomasioligic dictionaries, teaching onomasiologic theory of nomination and lexicography.
