Essay

The main principles of nomination, criteria of dissociation of word creative nomination and its modes from other types of nomination are determined in the dissertation. For the first time in Ukrainian linguistics the attempt to discover phenomena of economy on the level of word creative building of the Ukrainian language is realized. Mechanisms and consequences of such phenomena, varieties and displays in word creative nomination are determined. Scientific apparatus of abbreviation theory in linguistics is revised, a number of new notions and relevant terms are introduced into scientific circulation.
