The dissertation deals with transformation processes in political system of post-communist Bulgaria, which were caused by national and regional special features. The specifics characters of so-called 'Bulgarian phenomenon' were revealed on the basis of systematization research materials. Democratic political transformations were analyzed in connection with the influence of internal and external factors and their correlation at different stages of democratic changes. The efficiency of interrelation system between legislative, executive and presidency institutes was analyzed and defined. Basing on the 'import' concept, the specific characters of Western political institutions samples implementation was exposed. The analysis of the establishment of multi-party system and election institute plays an important part in this research. Also the research has disclosed positive and negative aspects of Bulgarian experience in order to improve the state-building in Ukraine.
