Object: the professional training for cadets in higher educational institution of the Ministry of internal affairs; aim: the theoretical grounds of concept foundation for future law enforcement officer’s professional training for social and educational work with teen-agers; the elaboration of the model the training and the experimental verification in practice; methods: literature analysis, theoretical design, questionnaire, experiment; novelty: the features of social and educational work with teen-agers; were defined for the first time as well as elaboration and demonstration of the training model’s effectiveness for cadets to social and educational work with teen-agers; the devised model of the social and educational work and the classification of the methods for this kind of work were the new ones too; results: the instillation of the model for training and the working out of the teaching and methodical supply; field: the Theory and Methods of Professional Education.
