Krylovets M. The System of Methodical Training of Future Geography Teachers

The dissertation is grounded on the necessity of further upgrading of theory and methods of the teaching process at higher pedagogical school of Ukraine.In the course of scientific research we discovered that a great deal of Ukrainian scientists and teachers in the course of history had contributed much to the theory and methodology of geography teachers training. We also took into account the possibility of its usage nowadays. Pedagogical theory and practices are enriched with new methods. We practically proved that methodical training of future geography teachers at University was successful and effective. The main recommendations of our research work were included into the existing state system of teachers training. The results of the dissertation may be used for developing new study programs. New study methodological manuals of geographical education have been introduced into study programs of higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
