A concept of competitiveness formation of footwear and haberdashery in the process and designing and technological works within ambivalence of environment factors was proposed. Methodology of information support of technological preparation of production was improved, a concept model of formation of pre-project research data base was proposed and direction of market segmentation in the conditions of market overfilling was determined. A concept model of formation of the range of leather items under the influence of uncertainty of environment factors; a mathematic model of formation of range of products according to the type of footwear, range groups on the basis of the ANCOVA-model; a mathematic model of the length and width size range formation taking into account sun cycles were proposed. Direction of designing and technology innovation for the leather items production were generalized. The methodology of determination of the differentiation level of basic footwear models was improved. Concept footwear technology selection in the system of competitive product designing was proposed.
