In this thesis the author has developed and substantiated: the structure of personal features of social pedagogue important for profession; pedagogic basics for personality development of future social pedagogue in the process of professional training at a higher educational institution; aggregate of basic notions, concept of personality development of future social pedagogue in professional training; technological model of insuring of personality development of future social pedagogue in the process of professional training at a higher educational institution; efficiency criteria, organizational and methodological conditions and pedagogic principles of personality development of future social pedagogue in the process of professional training at a higher educational institution. It has been improved a substance, methods and organizational forms of educational process of social pedagogue training program on the basis of credit-module system. The author has been advanced principles, stages of personality development of future social pedagogue; factors of influence of a higher education institution environment on development of student's personality. Training and methodological complex for insuring of personality development of future social pedagogue in the process of his/her professional training at a higher educational institution have been developed and implemented.
