Vokalchuk H. Occasional lexical neologisms in Ukrainian poetry of the 20th century.

This dissertation provides semantic, lexico-grammatical, derivational and functional analysis of author's lexical neologisms (over 7,000 units) registered in Ukrainian poetry of the 20th century. Particular study and argumentation of author's neologisms together with their broader classification, compared to traditional, are given in the paper. The paper provides the analysis of vocabulary of nearly 400 poets and the assessment of the contribution of separate authors and literary groups to the development of poetical vocabulary. The achievements of Ukrainian writer's lexicography of the 20th-21st centuries are analyzed. The dissertation includes the characteristics of the prospects of Ukrainian individual author's neography, and the typology and theoretic bases for compiling dictionaries of author's neologisms.
