Essay

Object of research is technological processes of manufacture and quality management of lengthy high-quality rolling of branch and a general purpose from continuous casting steel. The purpose is perfection of the "know-how" and improvement of quality of high-quality rolling from continuous casting steel for coal-mining branch, coal mechanical engineering, shipbuilding and car building up to a level not conceding to the best foreign analogues on the basis of development and practical realization of elements of multilevel technological maintenance of quality management of hardware in system "Steel - Rolling - Metal products". Industrial research of parameters of quality of metal products, mathematical and physical modeling of rolling processes are executed in view of substantive provisions of theory treatment of metals with pressure, the theory of plasticity, physics of a firm body, mechanics of continuous environments and the theory of heat conductivity. Methods of final elements and planning of experiment, and also experimental methods of mechanics of hard deformation bodies are used. Experimental research of processes of deformation continuous casting blooms on stages of incomplete crystallization and proskating rinks continuous casting preparations are used are executed on laboratory rolling mills 100 and 200, and also on specially created experimental installations of department "Processing of metals by pressure " at "Donetsk national technical university". At research modern devices of the control of temperature conditions of processing of metals and modeling materials, microscopes for studying a microstructure of metal, the explosive machine, pendulum copper and hard measurement controller for an estimation of mechanical properties of metals, tenth metric equipment are used. For modeling processes of processing of metals by pressure and statistical data processing personal electronic calculating machines are used. Methodological basis of the production engineering innovation designing as well as the model of the technological quality maintenance of the rolled metal from continuously casted steel have got further development. These achievements on their turn enabled to substantiate a new vertically integrated scheme of producing large size rolled metal of the branch usage in conformity with the conditions of the forming metallurgical holding companies. Methods of modelling and holding experimental research of the deformation process of the continuously casted blooms on the incomplete crystallization stage have been first elaborated, that, on account of using mathematical and universal physical models confirm the possibility of managing the process in the direction of achieving the top efficiency with the simultaneous formation of the deflected mode shape favourable for the quality of the metal. Field of application is manufacture of high-quality rolling from continuous casting steel.
