Essay

The present thesis is devoted to the problems' research of diagnostics and orthopedic treatment of patients with bite, which is reducing, and investigation of adaptive mechanisms for orthopedic constructions, which provide the optimal height of occlusion and improve the effectiveness of tooth replacement. The spreading of pathology among the population of Poltava region, which is equal with average indices in Ukraine, has been determined. The degree of functional disorders in patients with the bite, which is reducing, has been established on the basis of electromyographic researches. The mathematical calculations of optimal disconnection of the bite have been carried out in the base of which there are the data of magnetic resonancetomography of temporomandibular joint. It has permitted to determine the possible single-stage enlargement of interalveolar height. The effectiveness of orthopedic treatment with mentioned pathology depends on their psycho-emotional state and the readiness for using of prepared prosthodontic constructions. On the basis of clinical and laboratory researches the adaptive mechanism for dental prostheses, which renew lost bite height has been substantiated scientifically.
