Kostyuk O. Methodological essentials of corporate governance in bank

The dissertation research is devoted to developing the theoretic-methodological essentials for establishing and development of the corporate governance system in banks. The essence, aims, tasks and major participants of corporate governance in banks are identified, the academic classification for models of corporate governance in banks was introduced, the main contents and differences of the recent corporate governance systems were outlined and fixed. Analysis of the national systems of cor-porate governance in Ukraine and developed countries was undertaken, major prob-lems of corporate governance in Ukraine were summarized, the main roots of the problems were identified and the main consequences for the banking sector of the Ukrainian economy were fixed.
