Kholod N. Income Distribution and Redistribution in Transitional Economic Systems.

The dissertation reveals peculiarities and correlations of population income distribution and redistribution during transformation period in the post-communist countries' economic systems. Population income dynamics in the transitional economies and peculiarities of its functional and personal distribution are analyzed in the dissertation. Effectiveness of using social transfers and personal income taxation in redistribution of income has been ascertained. The peculiarities and correlations of the Ukrainian population income distribution and redistribution during the market transformation of the Ukrainian economy have been researched and recommendations for standard of living increase have been proposed.
