Dissertation is devoted to development of methods of calculation and tests of axle bearing boxes of freight carriages taking into account the features of their exploitation. The model of the axle bearing boxes equipped by the tapered roller bearing with the use of by volumes three-dimensional certainly-elements charts is developed. Scientific approaches are offered to determination of reliability indexes of the bearing taking into account the operating equivalent loadings.
