The object - the process of professional training of future teachers of foreign languages at teacher's training colleges and universities; the aim - to elucidate the essence of means of information and communication technologies on the effectiveness of professional training of future teachers of foreign languages; the methods - theoretical, empiric, statistic; the novelty - the conception and the model of training are substantiated, the essence of informational and educational environment as a necessary condition is established, the main features of didactic principles and functions of methodical training are outlined, the specificity of distance training is brought to light, the criteria and indices of the levels of forming the readiness of professional training are suggested; the results - the scientific/methodical, organizational/methodical provision for professional training process is elaborated; the field - pedegogics
