Mikulionok I. Processes and the equipment of processing of thermoplastics with use of secondary raw materials

Thesis for Doctor of sciences (engineering) degree on speciality 05.17.08 - Processes and the equipment of chemical technology. National technical university of Ukraine "Kyiv polytechnic institute". Kyiv, 2009. The dissertation is devoted to creation of scientific bases of development and improvement of processes and the equipment for complex processing thermoplastics with use of secondary raw material. It will provides an opportunity of definition of rational design data of the equipment and modes of its work, economy of power and material resources and reduction of environmental contamination. The general principles of a choice of the equipment and the generalized mathematical model of processes of processing thermoplastics with use of secondary raw material which considers as dissipation energy sources and the energy sources connected with transformations in volume of thermoplastic, and also real conditions on restrictive surfaces of working bodies of the equipment are developed. Also mathematical models single- screw and twin-screw extruders with the co-rotating and counter-rotating screws roll machines, mixers with complex-shaped rotors and systems of heat treatment thermoplastics are developed or advanced. Influence of parameters of the equipment and modes of its work on efficiency of processes of proc-essing is researched.
