Statinova Y. The peculiarities of diagnostics and treatment of neurologic disturbances in patients with chronic renal insufficiency prolonged by hemodialysis

In the thesis the theoretical substantiation and the new approach to the scien-tific problem of pathogenetic role in homeostatic disturbance and also influence of a long treatment by "an artificial kidney" on formation of neurologic disturbances in patients with the chronic renal insufficiency treated by programme hemodialysis have been described. Multilevel lesion of the nervous system has been revealed. Disturbances of lipid profile have been detected, correlation between intensity of dislipemia and the basic factors of its development have been established. The functional, structural changes of the brain and progressive disturbance of cerebral hemodynamics have been revealed. Negative influence on severity of poly-neuropathy of electrolyte abnormality, prolonged treatment by programme hemodi-alysis have been proved. Complex pathogenetic therapy of neurologic disturbances in patients on programme hemodialysis has been developed and its efficiency has been proved.
