Essay

The ways of increasing the efficacy of surgical treatment of patients with hereditary spherocytosis, autoimmune hemocytopenias and bening spleen diseases were describes. Priority data on the pathogenetical role of splenic immune system have been achieved as related both to those disorders and outcomes of splenectomy. Up-to-date objective indications for surgical interventions have been proposed.
