An object is processes of forming of competitive edges of light industry in Ukraine at the terms of the unbalanced development of the regional economic systems; a purpose is development of the theorist of methodological principles of forming, evaluation and prognostication of competitive edges of light industry; methods - historical and logical, abstractly-logical, economies is statistical, to the analysis and synthesis, economies mathematical, experimental, analytical design approach of the systems, comparative analysis; novelty - the conceptual model of functioning of computer-integrated industrial complex is worked out on infrastructural-administrative and informative bases; results are methodological principles of authentication and forming of competitive edges of light industry of regions the difference of which from withstand consists in: combination structural and functional approaches for classification of types of competition; it is inculcated in economic practice.
