Object: adjectives in modern Slavic languages. Objective: comprehensive analysis of the lexical-semantic and semantic-syntactic capacity of Slavic adjectives. Methods: comparative-typological, component analysis, transformational, analytical and descriptive. Scientific novelty: the first attempt of carrying out a systematic analysis of the lexical-syntactic properties of adjectives in modern Slavic languages. Practical value: the possibility of using in the courses in Slavic languages, general linguistics and lexicography.
