Essay

The thesis deals with an integral analysis of the problem of the professional training of the unemployed in pedagogical theory and practice of the USA. The bibliographic analysis of the given problem has shown that since the end of the XX-th century in Ukraine there have been activated the psychological and pedagogical researches on theoretical and practical aspects of professional training of different categories of adults, including the unemployed. Summing up the results of native and foreign scientists' researches, the conceptual ideas of the adult education development (open, participative, lifelong education and foreseen development of education) have been defined.
