Gorbuntsov V. Complex target therapy of skin malasseziasis

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of treatment of patients with skin malasseziasis (SM). Based on results of examining 221 patients with SM it has been found that SM exists only as a combination of some different clinical forms of it, which exist simultaneously and jointly, amalgamate and is characterized by the chronic course with successive transformation of its manifestations, dissemination, development of complications, combined and persistent lesions. It has been found that patients with SM have the peculiarities of the immunological changes, changes of indices of steroids content, mineral and lipids metabolism, which are interrelated and depended upon the features of SM clinical manifestations. It has been specified that patients with SM can be objectively distributed to four different therapeutic groups, which differ by the features of clinical manifestations, immunological changes, changes of indices of steroids content, mineral and lipids metabolism. It has been shown that carrying out the offered complex therapy, which takes into account all simultaneously existed manifestations of SM, the features of SM course and pathogenetic changes, provides better results as compared with the traditional therapy of its single clinical forms, substantially promotes the quality of treatment, normalizes the state of immunity, exchange of electrolytes, sex and corticosteroid hormones, lipids; prevents the relapses.
