Methodological approach to research the transformation process of market institutions in a globalizing economy was reasoned in the thesis. Author's typologization of market structures was introduced. Contradictions of hypercompetition manifestation in the context of globalization were shown. Reasons and factors of market structures' transformation in different economic systems were reasoned. Role of information technology revolution in forming of new market structures was shown.
