The modern concept of independent educational activity of students during general physics studying is outlined in the dissertation. The new system of independent educational activity of students, which corresponds with the latest pedagogical technologies, including information and communication ones, has been worked out. The structure of the above mentioned system outlines contemporary goals and tasks, table of contents, organizational forms, educational methods and means, directed for independent studying of general physics course with the help of innovative technologies. Theoretical and methodical basis of the newly created educational system for student' independent work organizing in the process of general physics studying have been grounded and experimentally tested. Suggested system ensures better knowledge possession, persuasions and competences formation.
