Essay

The results of theoretical investigation of quasiparticles spectra interacting with each other, and with classical and quantized fields in 3D and quasi-2D semiconductor structures are presented. The effect of various interactions on optical properties of media, considered promising due to modern optoelectronics requirements was determined. The dependence of the energies of electron, hole and exciton in semiconductor nanofilms on their thickness and temperature was found. The contribution of two-phonon processes of electron-phonon interaction to renormalization of electron's energy in nanofilm was studied.
