Roshchyn Y. Substantination of the therapeutic approach choice for patients with urethrolithiasis on the basis of efficiency forecasting of modern methods of calculus elimination

The work covers the improvement of treatment results of patients with urethrolithiasis on the basis of treatment algorithm creation which was elaborated in view of mathematical models of efficiency forecasting of modern treatments methods.Complex examination of patients with urethrolithiasis and subsequent performance of criterial mathematical analysis revealed the factors that determine the efficiency of conservative therapy, extracorporal shock-wave lithotripsy, urethroscopy and contact lithotripsy.On the basis of the revealed factors, which influence the efficiency of defferent treatment methods, there were elaborated and built multifactor mathematical models for efficiency forecasting of different treatments methods. The use of treatment algorithm for patients with urethrolithiasis made it possible to record the increase of efficiency of the first method from 83,58±0,86% to 92,48±0,98% (Р<0,001). Number of cases of ineffective use of the first treatment method decreased from 16,42%±0,86 to 7,52±0,98, i.e. 2.2 times less
