Biryukov O. Cross-Border Bankruptcies and Private International Law.

Dissertation is devoted to a study of a complicated phenomenon in law - to cross-border bankruptcies. Results of a system wide analysis and deep research of the whole variety of complex and private by nature insolvency relationships involving a foreign element are presented in the dissertation. In the course of the research necessity of implementation of a new regulation into existing Ukrainian legislation was retionalised in the following ways: unified material norms are suggested to introduce into the Bankruptcy Law; conflict law rule containing lex concursus - into the Private International Law; and the rules regarding coordination of multiple proceedings in a bankruptcy case - into the Procedural Law.
